Tuggawar, a trailblazing artist and visionary, is the founder of The Warr, a powerhouse band delivering explosive energy and raw musical brilliance. Known for his extensive music catalog and genre-defying style that bridges reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop, Tuggawar has made waves on the global stage. His impressive career includes high-profile collaborations, most notably with rap icon Fat Joe, showcasing his ability to create unforgettable music with some of the industry’s biggest names. With The War, Tuggawar brings his bold creativity and decades of experience to a groundbreaking new project, delivering electrifying performances and a fresh, innovative sound that captivates audiences worldwide.
GEMMA CLARKE
Gemma is a dynamic musician hailing from London, celebrated for her exceptional talent and passion for music. A versatile drummer and instrumentalist, Gemma first rose to prominence as a member of The Suffrajets , The Krak and later brought her a powerful rhythm and unique style to Babyshambles, Adam Ant and Suzi Quatro.
Known for her ability to seamlessly blend raw energy with technical skill, Gemma has become a key figure in the UK’s music scene, inspiring audiences with her performances. She is currently the drummer for JW Paris and the Warr.
Beyond her work with bands, Gemma is a passionate advocate for creativity and community within the arts, often collaborating on projects that spotlight emerging talent and diversity in music. Whether on stage or in the studio, her dedication to her craft continues to leave an indelible mark on the industry.
JEROME ALEXANDRE
Jérôme Alexandre is a London-based guitarist and co-founder of the post-punk band Deadcuts, formed in 2012 alongside the late Mark Keds of Senseless Things. Known for his dark, melodic tones and intricate guitar work, Jérôme has made significant contributions to the gothic rock and post-punk genres. Before Deadcuts, he was a member of The Skuzzies and has collaborated with artists like Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls and Gary Powell of The Libertines. With Deadcuts, he released two acclaimed albums, Dark Is The Night (2014) and Hit on All Sixess (2018), blending haunting melodies with driving rhythms. He also recorded with east coast rappers Flatbush Zombies in 2016 for the track “ Aries “ and also played on Erick arc Elliot’s solo album “ Arcstrumentals 2”. Jérôme’s versatility and dedication to his craft have also led him to work with acts such as Andi Sex Gang and Black Bordello, solidifying his reputation as a key figure in London’s music scene.
